As one of the most popular poker web sites on the internet these days, Full Tilt Poker is able to offer rakeback to its users unlike many other poker sites. Established by a group of experienced poker professionals back 6 years ago, Full Tilt has since exploded in popularity. This is due in part to its continual software updates which added new features such as the ability to resize tables which is a favorite for multitablers and the much loved timebank feature which gives you more time to think about difficult decisions. Another reason it has become one of the prime poker sites on the net is because of its appealing, clean, and user friendly interface. The most significant reason however for their success is the tremendous amount of FTP pros that they are associated with. These are famous poker players that only play on FTP and wear shirts/hats with the FTP logo on them when they play live poker. Among the most famous pros that they have teamed up with are Allen Cunningham, Phil Ivey, Chris Ferguson, and Jennifer Harman. The list has 100 or so more professional players and continues to grow.

As I stated earlier, Full Tilt Poker is the largest poker site which gives rakeback. Some of you might be wondering what on earth rakeback is so I am going to tell you. When you play on the internet you should have observed the chips on the top of the table that are placed away from the main pot, this is referred to rake. It’s here that poker sites including Full Tilt make their profit. Poker websites take in a tiny percentage of the pot from each hand and this is known as rake. This isn’t that bad because you can get some of this rake back from the site by a process commnly called rakeback.

In order to acquire Full Tilt Rakeback, you must sign-up to Full Tilt through a rakeback provider site. A rakeback provider talks with Full Tilt a price for referring poker players to their web site and this is a percentage of the players rake. To encourage poker players to use their sites to register to Full Tilt, a rakeback provider gives the majority of the rake that they will get from Full Tilt for getting you to sign-up up back to you and keep only a small amount of it. Some of you might be thinking whether or not if rakeback will effect your bonuses, the answer is simple, NO. You can still get the enormous $600 sign-up bonus, use and earn full tilt points, and take part in any other promotion they might have. So there is no reason not to get rakeback.

Yes your friends have told you a lot about poker and are throwing you challenges in Facebook and Myspace to compete and No, you aren’t doing anything about it. Not hard to guess, you are an online poker novice. Does the terminology confuse you? Here’s a concise guide through poker lingo.

Chips—you know them! They are the white or black or red coin kind of things you see beside the poker player. Chips replace money in a poker game and are used to place bets.

Buy In—poker is a game played with money and you need to pay up before you can play. The amount used to buy you entrance is the Buy In.

Fold—this happens when a player throws in his or her cards. There could be various reasons for a fold. The player might have felt that the cards dealt to him are her are worse than those of all the others or would have predicted loss.

Flop—the first three cards dealt to a player in the game is called flop.

Full House—if the player has a set of three cards of the same kind and another pair of one kind, it is called a full house.

Flush—flush refers to the situation where a player has five cards from the same suit.

River—the last card dealt is called river.

Now that you know what is what in poker, a few tips will help you get a nice start. We all know that beginners luck is important for a good boost later on. So the point is to make the chances of your losing money negligible. Choose a limit game so that you will not end up losing more than you are ready to. Losing a hand in a limit game is not as costly as losing one in a no limit game. While you’re at it, spend a little time observing an ongoing poker game before you actually join it. Observation plays a keen role be it online or a face to face poker game. Some sites allow you to watch tournaments and that would be your best chance to learn whatever you can before taking your own little steps. Before joining a game watch how and when the other players are placing their bets, which kind of hands they decide to play on and which kinds they don’t. The other thing you would want to remember is not taking the online poker games too seriously or too personally. A loss is a loss and you have better chances to win next time when you are more prepared than by jumping in till your neck because you have to win right now. It is a fact that poker games rely on simple mathematics, so like all things in life a little science is involved. If you take smaller steps and learn, you will have better chances in winning in the subsequent games. Otherwise, you would end up as an average gambler who is completely relying on luck and nothing else. Have fun while you play. That is the simple agenda of online poker.

Poker is the most popular type of card game in the world and has been fascinating individuals since the 1800’s and is still extremely popular today because it’s more than a simple game of luck. Poker itself is not a game, but it includes a wide range of different online casino games which extensively use the standard 5 card poker hand ranking.

Card Values

You have to understand the value of the cards. Poker is played with 52 playing cards. The cards are ranked from highest to the lowest order:

Ace

King

Queen

Jack

10

9

8

7

6

5

4

3

2

Note: Aces are constantly high and they are worth more than the Kings.

The suits are:

Clubs

Hearts

Spades

Diamond

Each player places a bet into the pot before the cards are even dealt. You need a bet because to ensure that someone will always win something on each hand.

The game commence with the dealer handing out the cards clockwise from his or her left. The dealer deals everyone their first card, then goes back around the circle to deal the second, and so on. The dealer-if he’s playing always deals to himself last. As soon as everyone has five cards, the remainder of the deck is placed in the middle of the table, and play begins.

Each player looks at his cards, and then the first player places a bet. While there are several ways of deciding who bets first, poker beginners are best off letting the player directly to the left of the dealer make the first bet. Then on the next hand, the person to his left will bet first, and so on around the table for each new hand.

Players have different options as far as the first round of betting goes. If no one has made a bet yet, There are 2 things you can do:

1. Check (pass the bet) -When a player checks, it means that he doesn’t want to open the betting, but doesn’t want to quit either. It basically means you are not going to open the betting, but you’ll stick around and see what happens.

2. Bet -by putting the chips into the pot. Therefore if the player has good cards he may be willing to risk more and make other players to pay more in order to stay in the hand. In some poker variations the betting amount is restricted while in the others there are no any limits.

There are commonly only 3 rounds of betting allowed in poker. When a player makes his or her bet, the next player can call, raise, or fold.

As soon as the cards are dealt, the players are left with betting options:

Betting Options

Fold – to give up the cards and quit the hand by placing the cards face down on the table. The player always can use this action in case his hand is too weak to compete and it is better not to risk. When the player folds he gives up the chips which are already in the pot.

Call – this action means to match the bet by putting the same amount of chips into the pot as in the last bet.

Raise – to increase the betting amount. If the player feels that his or her hand is very strong he or she can force other players to risk more by raising. Of course, all the actions in poker, especially raising, can be used just to bluff and make other gamblers fold even if your hand is very weak. But remember, every time you raise the next players can always re-raise your raise.

At this point, all the players who haven’t folded are considered to get rid of the cards they don’t want and take some new cards. A player is permitted to get rid of up to 3 unwanted cards and receive up to 3 new ones from the deck,as long as the player always has 5 cards total.

The game ends when there are no more raises and everyone saw everyone else’s bet, or everybody folds except for the winner, of course. The player with the highest hand wins the pot!

Video poker is one of the pre-eminent online casino game ever developed online. It is a skilful mixture of poker and slot machines games. Since, video poker is opposed from the traditional video poker, online poker players have to learn a proper strategies that may exhort them to hit the royal flush. Plain and sailin’, video poker is expounded as a casino game that is played on a computerized console, likewise to slot machine.

Video poker is based on 5 card draw strategy. Although it has a few distinctions that make it a little more difficult to master, but the potential payouts are faster and larger. It is not like getting blood out of a stone to play however, a player has to find out about a real strategy to win the most wanted deal:

KEEP AN EYE ON PROGRESSIVE VIDEO POKER

Overall, progressive video poker offers an extensive progressive jackpot for obtaining a high hand, or a royal flush. Although the probability of beating the royal flush is really nominal. Players must play with all the coins presented by a video poker machine in order to get the jackpot. With these, playing video poker more, win more!

BET MAX

On any given machine you can usually settle upon $0. 25, $0. 50, $1, or $5 games. With bets as much as 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, or the Max Bet 5x. So if you’re playing a $1 game, you can place bets of $1, $2, $3, $4, or $5.

Remember, always bet the maximum coins allowed on every hand. If you can not stretch to do this on the $1 bet, then step down to the quarter games first. It is important to have the max coins played when you finally hit a big hand.

VIDEO POKER BONUS ROUNDS

If the video poker machine you are playing offers “bonus rounds”, do not expose your money to danger on these offers, as you will be losing your way from most favourable strategy making the game even more of a gamble.

BLIND STEALING

Blind stealing happens when the dealer make his “raise” so that you in the long run, you “fold”. This is the moment you can “steal-raise”. It happens when you are the last one to make a wager.

You can use this strategy if you have an excellent set of cards. On the other hand, you can also use the “check-raise” to bait you opponent to wager and you will “raise” his wager after.

Alas, you can use “squeezing” in short-hand poker games. This will come off if you have an excellent set of cards leading your opponent to draw out of the game.

BANKROLL MANAGEMENT

You should set yourself a bankroll management that enables you to play more often play with maximum amount of coins. Let’s say if you choose $. 25 and the maximum coins you can play per machine is 5, then, you’ll required to wager $2. 25. It is very advisable to have a sufficiently money to gamble for atleast a hundred rounds of a game to achieve the maximum playing time also.

Video poker can be an exciting betting casino game to play and it is definitely one that most every gambler has tried at one time or another. Just make sure and pay attention to the rules for the game variety you are playing and play maximum coins each time and go for the jackpots. That is the way to make playing and betting video poker a worthwhile experience.

A few years ago, although poker is very popular, it was still considered in the realm of the casino game. However, recently, poker has begun to draw in larger crowds and the challenge and the competitiveness of the game led to many organized tournaments.

Online poker sites have played no small role in this recent development. The allure of poker as more than a game of chance lies on the myriad strategies that can be used in trying to get a winning hand. Though the game still rely a great deal on chance, it has been highly structured in the course of the years to allow the player more flexibilities in his moves.

The game has also been made more fast paced with new rules which make it more interesting to both players and spectators alike. Lastly, the game has been codified enough for it to more acceptable to the general public as a competitive game.

The online community also helped a lot in shaping competitive poker as it is today. Many of the rules that have been adopted by poker tournaments around the world, whether live or online, came from the halls of the online casino. Much of the elements that added to the excitement of the game were also carried over from the online world.

The challenge in the game is skillfully managing the player?s hand to ensure a winning suit. The suits in the game of poker are very well known and need no more explanation, even to the novice.

The probabilities of getting different hands, especially higher valued one,s have greatly intrigued players and non players alike for years that it even became the subject for mathematical analysis done by many top minds.

Betting too, plays a significant role in the growing interest in the game. Poker offers a wide variety of different bets that are designed to up the stakes of the game. This is also the main crowd drawer of the game.

The challenge in poker betting is the decision making needed during the various phases of the game. This is the part when many of the best poker players excel. Often, these masters would be put to the test with enticing bets but would decline, sometimes turning a losing hand into a win.

Poker betting itself presents many interesting twists and turns such that it too has become the subject of intense mathematical study. This, along with that of card combination probabilities, make poker an interesting and delightful example commonly used in math textbooks.

With this, poker has truly captured the public, not only as an indulging game of chance, but also an engaging game of skills.

Every player has certain poker tells that will tell you all you need to know about their hand. When you see these patterns, you’ll be able to read right through his poker face even in online poker. However, when you start to lose continuously, the fun gets out of the game. To avoid this, you need to learn how to read your opponents.

Most poker players give away what they think, and the ability to read these thoughts is a significant factor in poker. Learning the non-verbal cues of your opponents sets you in a position where you can carefully plan your next move.

Perhaps for beginners, reading your opponent’s mind is not as easy as clicking your fingers, but learning from experiences and applying wits and a little bit of bluffing can help you win big time. But being aggressive is not always the key, unless you’re an expert.

Know Their Acting

Acting is an important part of poker. When you lead your opponents to believe you have a weak hand when in fact you have a strong one, and vice versa, you are using common game assumptions to your advantage. When professional poker players use this, they reverse these assumptions to bluff other players.

Look After Their Talking

Try to spot any changes in their behavior or any kind of giveaways. Some quiet players start to talk when they have a bad hand, while others may start to hold their cards protectively when they receive a good hand.

Watch Out The Gestures

Like a red face, shaking, deep breathing and jittery gestures usually mean a player has a good hand and is unconsciously “giving away” that he has. Of course, always be aware of your own gestures and behavior so you would not send out giveaways to your opponents.

Gazing Sideways

If your opponent is gazing sdeways as if he is not interested, remember thios is a deception. Your opponent has a strong cards and is going to raise when the bet come to him.

The Pre-Flop

When an opponent checks on pre-flop, then either checks again on the flop or calls somebody’s raise, only to raise on the turn, things should be pretty obvious: this guy has been slow-playing something, a hand on which the flop hit him head on. He starts raising on the turn, or there are people who wait all the way to the river hoping that somebody else will start the betting and then they can check-raise him.

Raise-Bet-Check Pattern

This is a big sign of weakness. Generally, if somebody raises and then checks, it means he wanted to bluff and he just admitted he couldn’t pull it off. Make sure you don’t get yourself into this situation.

Playing hand right after a bad beat

This is usually a sure sign of tilt. A strong, tight player should be selective in the cards he plays. Unless he’s in position or playing out of the blinds, he’s probably just playing angry and on tilt. He’s liable to play foolishly aggressive, trying to win back the money he lost at any cost. Exploit this weakness.

to play poker using your ever favorite Rock Band Guitar controller? Well, anything is possible! As these rocking controller can now be used for checking folding, calling raising and all-in!As I red this NEW trend omf playing poker in Pokerlistings, I know a lot of Guitar Hero and poker players are now enjoying more of their online casino entertainment.

Here’s the 3 easy-peasy steps to get it done:

3 Steps Of Set-Up

Setting up your guitar (or drums) as your wireless poker controller isn’t all that hard. You can do it in three simple steps, and if you’re not all that adept with computers, don’t worry.

Step 1

Plug the guitar receiver into your computer. Your computer should automatically install the guitar, and it will even show up as a game controller (you can find a link to see those in your control panel). You might have to hit the sync buttons. Also: make sure the guitar is turned on.

Step 2

You now have your guitar working as a game controller. Basically, this means the guitar will send commands to your computer. You need your computer to translate these commands into keystrokes, and then make those keystrokes execute specific commands in your poker software. This program allows you to control your preferred online poker site including Full Tilt or PokerStars game windows using only your keyboard. You need to set this software up to have all the commands you’re going to need.

Step 3

Now that you have your poker windows controlled by the keyboard, you need to bind the guitar buttons to the specific keyboard functions. Although you can use any program that will bind game controllers to keyboard keys, I’ve used Xpadder. You can get it here: Although you can use any program that will bind game controllers to keyboard keys, I’ve used Xpadder.

Once you have Xpadder, you need to set it up. Follow the on-screen instructions initially until you get to the tabbed setup screen. You want to click on the buttons tab. Press the neck buttons on the guitar one at a time. Each time you press a button it should show up as a box in the pink screen. Make sure to click and drag the boxes into the order you see them in on the guitar (buttons 1 and 4 will be swapped unless you manually move them). You should have five squares on the screen. Now tilt the guitar up until a sixth square shows up. Drag that square up above the six squares. Click on the DPad tab. Set “up” to the strummer going up, set “right” to the whammy bar and set “down” to the strummer going down. You don’t need to set left to anything at all. Now click on finish and close. You should see six boxes and one big DPad plus sign on the screen. You want to click on each box and bind it to the proper F command. Set them up identical to how you see them in the picture, then save your settings.

This sets:

Green to the left (check/fold) button, Red to the middle (call) button, Yellow to lower bet amount, Blue to increase bet amount and Orange to bet pot. Moving your guitar into the Star Power position will hit F4, moving you all in. The strummer will act as your right (raise) button, regardless of the direction plucked. And finally, the whammy bar acts as your Time Bank. Now you’re set. Make sure you have Xpadder and Poker Shortcuts running, open your Full Tilt or PokerStars client and log on to a table.

Note: For the software to work properly, you need to have the poker table active and the mouse hovering over the top of the table, but not over the chat box.

One of the most important factors to become a successful online poker player is to be merciless with your opponents. This may sound easy, but for some reason or another people tend to make bad moves and play too soft due to their mercy.

First you need to understand what poker is. Poker is about winning chips, and chips are usually money, the more chips you win the better you are doing. Again, it may sound utterly stupid but it is good for you to remember what your objective is so you won’t get distracted by things like getting more chips only from some individual you dislike or to make a good and “thrilling” competition.

Let’s put it that way, if you are playing online poker against your grandma your objective is to take all her money for you, if you are not comfortable with doing that do not play against your grandma. Maybe your grandma doesn’t play online poker (or maybe she does) but the big idea is that no matter if you like the player or you have chatted with him for a while or he is your friend or whatever situation your objective is still the same, taking all the chips in his/her stack and add them to yours.

Sometimes you may feel pity for a player who is losing a lot of money and still keeps playing like a fish, this may lead you to play with some kind of mercy to him, and you’ll earn less money than you could. Earning less money than you could is the same as losing money, so if you show mercy you are losing money and you are not playing poker correctly.

One of the advantages you have when you are playing online poker instead of brick and mortar poker is that you don’t see the face of your opponent. You must show no mercy when playing poker and then if you want you can give away part of your winnings to charity if that relieves you.

Some merciful actions are for example on a pot you have nuts and the other player has invested a lot of money into it, let’s imagine a $50 pot, if you got another $50, bet them all on the river. Even if you know the other player will get busted by that action, do not bet $30 if you think he will call $50. If you didn’t earn those $20 is the same as if you lost them.

Other merciful actions are to “give away” chips to players who are almost out of a tournament. You know you have lost the hand because you were drawing and on the river the other player goes all in with his little stack. You know you are going to lose but you call because you want to see his cards and you think it is no problem for you to give away a few chips to a player who is almost busted. This player may be the final winner of the tournament for such a merciful action.

Some things about poker seem pretty obvious. Poker requires a lot of decision making, so a person who is good at making decisions has an edge. We have to look at the kinds of decisions a person needs to make when playing poker.

In playing poker, one should know when to See (it means that you match the bet or poker money of other players), Raise (increase the bet), and Fold (the act of folding is to “give up,” place your cards face down on the table, lose whatever you have bet so far).

Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards (except for Ross Perot Poker, which is played with less than a full deck). The cards are ranked from high to low in the following order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Aces are ALWAYS high. Aces are worth more than Kings, which are worth more than Queens which are worth more than Jack, and so on. The cards are also separated into four suits. The suits are Clubs, Spades, Hearts and Diamonds.

The only way to stay in a poker game is to not fold. If you have a bad hand and want out quick, then you’d seriously consider folding. If you have what you think could be a good hand (if you could take a few new cards and get good ones), then you would seriously consider staying in. If you have an outstanding hand, then you would definitely want to stay in. BUT you do not want everyone to know you have a great hand, or else they will all fold, letting you win the tiny pot money. The trick is to make everyone else bet a lot so you can win more money. It is also known as bluffing.

This is one of the advantages of playing poker en ligne, almost anybody can bluff without worrying that their facial expression is giving them away. Unlike in playing inside a casino, players tend to lose credibility with their bluffing because they are not good at showing a poker face, understandably it is really quite hard to be emotionless especially if one is losing or winning much money.

Jeux Poker en ligne is quite a different game compared to live poker games. There are different tells and different skills you need to learn if you are really serious to make a success of yourself online. Understand that some people win and some lose online. Preparation and learning is the only key to success.

People are turning on their computers to gamble instead of going to the actual casinos. In online gambling, everything is accessible and everything is fun. In a recent survey conducted, almost 90% of the people surveyed play online gambling and almost 50% of them like playing online poker. This is one of the reasons why online poker is now the new-age of gambling. People love it and the game is on.

There are many things that a person needs to consider before playing any poker en linea. News about online theft has been around ever since online poker reached residential homes. So it is better to be very cautious with whom you are playing and what gambling website you are entrusting your money with. There is nothing wrong with asking questions and making your own research about the online website you wish to play with. Besides being careful nowadays is the most important thing to do. Researching and reading forums regarding the services of a certain website will help you track its eligibility and reliability in protecting its players against theft.

Jugar poker online is not always synonymous to security theft. Poker online is one of the best leisure that a person can have in the comforts of his home. Every poker website is unique. A player might find one feature that is not available in another website. Selecting a website that you will patronize is very important for you will be spending some of your money and time in it.

There are many things that you can do in online poker websites. You can play or just observe their daily activities. Most of these websites have software that you need to download to your computer for you to play their games. They usually have helpful onsite agents to help you with whatever you need. Expect that you will enjoy playing online poker more than playing the real thing.

Playing online poker is as fun as playing in a real casino. It is just that online poker is much more accessible and convenient to most people. When you gamble, it is not always about the money and winning. Sometimes a player gambles just for the sake of having fun. Having fun will cost something, but the important thing is that a player is basically having fun while playing. Online poker just gave players enough reasons to stay and consider it as the new-age style of gambling.
